A double for the Scottish Transport Conference 2008

The Scottish Transport Conference & Exhibition 2008, organised by Ten Alps Events in Manchester will feature keynote speeches by the Scottish Transport Minister Stewart Stevenson and his Northern Ireland counterpart Conor Murphy MP.
This will be the first time the two Ministers have shared a platform together and will be seen as a significant move towards promoting better transport links between Scotland and Northern Ireland.
“Good transportation routes beyond the sea ports in the South West of Scotland are vital to the North of Ireland. They are important not only for the economy in the efficient transport of freight and by facilitating tourism, but also for the great number of people visiting friends and relatives or travelling to sporting events. They are also important for the economic regeneration of this part of Scotland.” – Conor Murphy MP, Transport Minister, Northern Ireland Executive
Being held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow on the 16th September this years event promises to be the largest event of its kind in Scotland with over 500 delegates attending the conference and up to 1,000 attending the exhibition.
