Latest news - The Northern Ireland Transport Minister Conor Murphy MP has confirmed that he will be delivering a keynote speech at this years Scottish Transport Conference on the importance of developing the transport links between Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Stewart Stevenson MSP, Minister for Transport, Infrastructure & Climate Change has confirmed last week as the keynote speaker for the Scottish Transport Conference 2008
Chaired by Louise Batchelor, Transport Correspondent for BBC Scotland this years conference will attract over 1000 delegates from across the transport sector in Scotland.
More time, money and effort is being spent on the transport industry at present than at any other time. Future transport plans include the building of a new bridge across the Firth of Forth, major developments and growth for the succesful staging of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games and the brand new Edinburgh Tram project to name a few.
